Google

Google is undoubtedly the world's largest search engine and the world's second largest website. Google is famous for it's diverse search options, accuracy of searches and its advertising model which is linked to more than 80 % websites in the world. Google indexes billions of Web pages, so that users can search for the information they desire, through the use of keywords and operators.

In 2004, Google launched its own free web-based email service, known as Gmail. Gmail features spam-filtering technology and the capability to use Google technology to search email. The service generates revenue by displaying advertisements from the AdWords (keywords) service that are tailored to the content of the email messages displayed on screen.

The beauty of Google's search advertising is that one can start advertising with even one dollar per day because of the advertiser friendly model Pay per click (PPC). Remember the number one rule of pay-per-click advertising: It's not about buying clicks. It's about buying conversions. Pay-per-click is not about buying visitors, it's about buying customers.
